Upper Corner Cabinet
Post by tbelk34 on Aug 20th, 2012, 10:00pm
I'm building my first corner cabinet using this software. It has 24" left & right back width, 12" left & right side depth, 1/4" insert back depth. To determine my 45 angle, do I cut a 22.5 angle on the 12" sides and a 22.5 angle on the 17" wide face frame? It doesn't seem to want to work out.

This may (or may not) help. http://www.cabinetplanner.com/upper_corner_cabinet.html
Yes, generally the sides and face frame are figured for a 22.5 angle.
Which part sizes don't appear to be correct for your construction method?

After reviewing the attached drawing you sent I thank the problem is the size of the top & bottom. The work sheet shows the size as 23 3/8 x 23 3/8.

Rob,
Thanks for your help.
All the numbers are correct. I forgot to figure in the 3/8 dado on the side panels.
Thanks again
