Where did my shelves go?
« Thread started on: Aug 6th, 2010, 11:25am »
I set my tall standards for 4 shelves 2 opening cabinet. Noticed that some of my older drawings have shelves in elevation view in the tall cabinets but none of my more recent ones.
Tried to add shelves in the plan window but every time I hit save it reverts to zero

Did you try installing the latest update to see if it fixes this? It seems to me that I did something to fix this recently. (I really should keep a log of the changes )
I did a few tests and everything semmed to work properly with the shelves on the Tall 2 opening cabinet. Is anyone else able to reproduce what JGCW is getting?

Latest update installed. The problem is with the tall custom specifically. I redrew the drawing making one of my bookcases using a tall 2 opening and shelves show up at whatever amount I specify. The other was a tall custom and didnt display any shelves as well as resetting the shelf value to zero every time I hit save.

Ah, you didn't say it was the Tall Custom. They don't show shelves in the elevation or 3d. There wasn't enough room available to have a setting for how many shelves to show in each opening.
I will have to see why the number of shelves is reset to zero when the elevation view is open.

Thanks Rob. As always you are on top of it!
In the future it would be great to be able to view shelves on the tall custom. I usually plan around that cabinet because of this. My customers need a visual.
