Set the top at a height off the floor and for example a 12" bar top with a 1" over hang towards the sink will be a length - 12" depth -42" from floor and - -11" from wall
If I read the question right

Right, what Pete said, setting the "From wall" dimension to a negative value will make the counter top overhang the backside of the wall.

You probably also want to set wall #1's height to 42"

thanks pete , that will def. help, so by doing this it stacks the counters on the same wall ,ok, now you just put the reg. demensions for the upper cabs and it will show up as a space from counter to bottom of uppershuh i would like to be able to rotate the image in the 3d format to get a 360 view, im still learning, but im real happy with the results and how easy it is to use ,(well put together rob ) and while im asking Q's ,the uppers above the bar are going to have glass doors on both sides ,how do i get that solved huh? thanx for all the help, i need as much as i can get

thanks rob , if you read the quote on petes response, what do you think about the doors and the space between the counter and uppers

Setting the wall height to 42 will have it show a space between the counter and the upper cabinets in the 3d view.

So you need a cabinet with a face on both sides, it's doable but a little involved.

First, set the back thickness to zero for the cabinet you already have.

Then create another wall, 180 degrees from wall #1, with it's height and depth set to zero. On this wall create a similar cabinet as the upper you have but set it's depth to 3/4". This will give you only the face frame & doors for the cabinet and it will show it in the 3d as being part of the other one.
