The program can only create object files, it can not open or edit them.

In order to make changes to the object file you need to open the regular job file in the program, make the changes and then create a new object file.

Why can I open other object files but not this one?

Not in Cabinet Planner?

The only valid files you can open in the program have either .dat (older versions) or .cpdat for the file extension. The Object files (.obj) are for using a third party 3D rendering program.

If you are trying to open a .dat or .cpdat file and are reseiving the error message above then it probably means the file is corrupt. In that case you'll need to start over with the job.

Sorry to hear that. I know it can be frustrating to have to redo a job from scratch. Someday I hope to add an automatic backup system to the program.
