I'm building an island that will have cabinets on all four sides. Only one side will have a standard toe kick and the others will have base that will be flush to the surface of the doors. Do I have to use a different set of general standards to do this?

For the cabinets with the flush toekicks you can set the toekick height to zero and then set the bottom rail width larger to compensate.
