Mud room locker
Post by eddieo on Mar 26th, 2015, 06:03am

How would you go about designing this mud room bench on the software? It's been a while since I used this program and I messed it with it about an hour. I went to custom cabinet and made my openings but it didn't work. Plus I couldn't get the bench seat in there either. I'll keep working with it but if anyone has times to send some quick steps, that will help.
Thanks,
Eddie

You can use 4 "open below" cabinets, a shelf and a "base" cabinet to create this.

Rob,
Why did you set the scirbe on the sides you combined to -0.75? Is that a tip or trick ? Also can you get it to figure the partitions in the open below by clicking partition Y? I've been doing more of these in mud rooms and haven't perfected it yet. Thank you.

This is a trick posted by northbay recently:

The 'open below' is a bit of an oddball cabinet. You could also use the 'tall 2 opening' cabinet and get a partition but in this case it will give an extra bottom. (it isn't setup for having the bottom rail set to zero like the uppers)
