Using Wall #0
Post by trulycustom on Mar 4th, 2010, 10:21am

When initially starting a project and knowing the customer will make changes, I "park" un-wanted or un-used cabinets on Wall #0, this gets them off my elevation but keeps them available if I need to put them back in the plan saving me from re-creating them as would be the case if I deleted them. The issue I am having is they are showing up in the price and material calculations, which I don't want. Is there a way to list cabinets on Wall #0 so I can make sure I have deleted them all when the final plan is done or just not calculate any cabinets located on Wall #0? This might be an isolated case and I am the only one doing this, any advice would be appreciated.

Interesting.

I think the only thing you could do is create one extra wall and place these cabinets on that wall. Then you can check that they are all deleted from that wall before printing any final parts lists, shop plans etc...
