raised Panel ends
Post by n7kon on Nov 20th, 2015, 5:55pm
I have a cabinet that I want to put a raised panel on. I have it created and it is attached to the cabinet. But it is wider than the standard panel. it should be 15 1/16" wide but comes out 16 1/16" wide. cant find the standards for the panel to see why it is making it an 1" wider.
any help would be great
Thanks Keith

With raised panel ends the panel will always be given as the size it was created. The program doesn't have a setting that will change it sizes.
Are you saying you created the panel as 15 1/16 but the program is giving it as 16 1/16?

I figured out what i was doing wrong. 2 things, one is I used depth of tong for tong which is 1/4" when I should have been using 3/8" which is depth of stiles and rail cut. the second is I used full depth of cabinet when should have used what the blank side was measured at. Thanks for taking time to get back.
Have a good holiday
