Question about width adjustment of plywood box
Post by Aescher on Feb 22nd, 2017, 10:59am
Hello I am using the application for the first time doing an evaluation. I am trying to figure out what setting to set in order to leave a small offset between the face frame width and the plywood box width.
What I am trying to accomplish is the following:
I have an 18" wide cabinet. The over all width of the face frame is 18", I want to create a 1/8" offset on each side of the face frame when attaching the face frame to the plywood box. So in total reduce the plywood box by 1/4". I have tried the different settings in More but can't seem to get it right.
Is this even possible or am I just missing something simple?

The "Scribe" setting is what you want for this. It can be preset for all cabinets in the General Standards or individually for each cabinet in the cabinet's editing window.
