I have drawn a 48" corner pantry and can't get it to show on the next wall. It looks like it is a tiny bit away from the wall, but all the math puts it right on the wall. Any help appreciated.

Two things come to mind:
Did you put a check in the box to show it on the next wall?
Do you have your walls created numerically in a clockwise direction?

I just noticed that it is walls 1 and 4 of a rectangle. Will that not work?

No, they need to be on consecutive walls.
