xx Euro Cabinet back height
« Thread started on: Dec 18th, 2014, 10:42am »

I am trying to make some Euro wall cabs that are 36" high. The sides show as 36", but the backs show as 35 7/8". Why is this? Is there some other setting to adjust the backs to the same height as the sides?

Thanks!

The height of the back on the upper cabinets is figured as the cabinet height – bottom strip width + back height adjustment

What do you have entered for the bottom strip width and for the back height adjustment?

I have the Standards for this project set as no bottom strip and 0 height adjustment.

OK, the bottom strip width is figured as the bottom rail width - box material thickness - bottom rail lip.

What do you have your bottom rail lip set to?

I think I figured out the problem. I entered the actual box material thickness of .671 and used .75 for the top and bottom rail thickness.

Thanks!

Yep, that would do it.User Image

You're doors will be a different height now if you've corrected the rail widths.
