Hello from NC

Hello to everyone. I am a professional cabinet maker for the past 30 or so years. Back in the late 90's I started using a program called AutoCabinet. That program changed hands over the years and is now Cabinet Solutions. My version only runs on the old operating system win 98. I found the cost to upgrade was ridiculous as I had to buy every upgrade since 98. In looking for another option, I stumbled upon Cabinet Planner. After using the trial version for maybe 10 minutes I knew my search was over. I am pretty proficient on Cabinet Solutions having designed probably a 100 sets of cabinets over the years. I can say now that Cabinet Planner can do virtually anything the $5000 program can do! That sounds impossible to believe but its true. the only difference I have found so far is that CS lets you name the face frame material cherry, oak, etc., instead of just calling it solid. That's a minor thing because if I don't remember what material I'm working with I probably shouldn't be around machinery. Thanks, Rob, for all the money you saved me! Gary
