My wife and I just purchased cabinet planner to redo our kitchen. We made our cabinets for two bathrooms and a laundry room. We wanted software this time to do all the work for us.

I need to figure out how to use pocket hole screws for the cabinets and dovetails for the drawers in the calculations.

Welcome to the forum!

Generally speaking if you're using pocket screws for the cabinet boxes then all you should need to do is set the default dado depth to zero. (General standards)

For dovetail drawer boxes you need to set the "dado depth for sides" so it is the same as your drawer box material thickness. That will make the fronts and backs length the same as the drawer box width. (Drawer standards)

Thank you for answering our questions so quickly here and by email. I may have a few others later. I just figured out to calculate my raised panel doors, rails, and stiles for my Freud router bits
