I need help
« Thread started on: Nov 15th, 2009, 5:59pm »
I am building my 1st set of cabinets, and I am having problems. I have entered in my data in the planner software, I have cut all my specs out, and it just don't jive. I am building two 10 feet of base cabinents with no counter top customer is having one made and customer will install the counter top. I am building the cabinents at my shop and the customer will pick it up. Its 2 10 feet cabenit base with a 2.5 toe kick. The specs are 24 D , 34.5 H and 10 W. Here are a few questions: (1) How do I calculate the base ? How wide and how long. (2) Stretchers, do they lay flat or on end ? I would e-mail someone the dat file to look it over to see what I am doing wrong.

stretchers go in the back of the cabinet. they lay flat against the wall so you can fasten your cabinet to the wall. they are about 1.5 to 2.5 inches wide cut from .5 to .75 thick stock. have you been able to set up your walls then go to elevation view and click and drag your base cab. into place. hang in there hope this helps alittle
