xx 3d images
« Thread started on: Feb 6th, 2013, 3:44pm »

I get the 3d picture just fine but cannot print or save it. When I do, I get no picture and a small portion of the menu that is on the left side of the screen in the normal 3d program. Also when I print it will have my info at the heading but this doesn't happen when I save an image. I thought I had this to work before, but I may have only been saving and printing elevations which work fine. Can anyone help?
I am also using windows 8 if that is a problem. The only problem I found with this new computer is that the bottom off the screen in cabinet planner gets cut off. This is also a different aspect ratio on the screen size, which is what I thought the real problem is.

What is your computer's screen resolution and DPI set to?

it is set to 1366 x 768. Right after posting the question I realized there was an update that I have now down loaded but no change for my problem.

Thanks. My computer does not give me the actual DPI, just that it is set to smaller 100% which is the default and only other option is medium 125%. What should I be set to? Also, when I save an image in the 3d mode the file ends up being only 16kb in size. That can't be right when one of the elevations for the same project is 80kb.

What operating system are you using?

Do you have Aero enabled (Vista and newer)? If so you need to disable it in order to save or print the 3d images. The program should give you a message about this when opening the 3d section of the program.

Not sure where to go with this. Windows 8 is essentially the same as Vista & 7. Their version numbers are 6.0, 6.1 and 6.2, making them all the same major version.

Is anyone else having this problem with Windows 8?
