Running CP in frameless-box/butt-joint mode, it seems that our way of building the box is different than what CP assumes: we want to cut the sides shorter than full height and put them between the full length top and bottom, all at same depth except the bottom which extends by 1/2 inch to support the back in a rabbet joint.
Is there a way to configure CP like that?
If there isn't, for other users having same dilemma, we figured that by setting the adjustments in a certain way (e.g. decrease sides length by 1.5, etc) would force CP to give you the expected cut dimensions (but it feels like a hack).

Not really a hack. The part size adjustments are about the only way to have the program be able to give parts sizes correctly for the gazillion ways people build their cabinets.

Thanks, Rob.
I'm new to this cabinets world (my friend is actually the man with the knowledge and experience, I'm just helping him and learning in the same time) but what you said makes sense. And it also feels better to know that the adjustments is the way to configure CP to do what you need (smart idea, by the way). We'll keep charging ahead then.
