Custom built in bench

I know this is stretching the limits of the program, but how could I plan out an L shaped corner bench that has hinges on top to open for additional storage? I was able to make a lazy Susan cabinet in the program that gets to be a similar shape. Of should I just use sketchup or another program to deal with the bench seat?
